10-100MM Nitriding Reaction Ferrosilicon Nitride Si3N4 Lumps
Ferro silicon nitride is an iron alloy material with Si3N4 as the main component, accompanied by free iron, non-silicon nitrides, and a small amount of other components. Industrial refractory ferrosilicon nitride appears as gray-white or brown powder, while steelmaking ferrosilicon nitride is gray-white and granular.
Powdered Ferrosilicon Nitride Si3N4 is mainly used for tap holes in large blast furnaces and, in small quantities, for iron channel materials or other unshaped refractory materials. Granular ferrosilicon nitride is primarily used in silicon-oriented steel or other steels that use nitrides to enhance strength (such as HRB400 rebar).
Difference Between Ferro silicon Nitride and Silicon Nitride
The uses of ferrosilicon nitride and silicon nitride are very similar, but their main components differ. Ferrosilicon nitride contains free iron, while silicon nitride has minimal iron content.
The price of ferrosilicon nitride is about half of silicon nitride, with comparable performance between the two.

Unshaped refractory materials, non-foaming tap hole mud, iron channel materials.
Nitrogen-increasing agent: By mixing with nitrogen-containing ferrovanadium, ferrosilicon nitride, niobium iron, chrome iron, etc., it can replace vanadium-nitrogen alloy to reduce the cost of nitrogen-increasing agents.
