Transportation and storage of graphite electrodes
1. When lifting or reversing the electrode, it is necessary to operate carefully to prevent the electrode from slipping down and damaging the electrode due to the tilting of the electrode.
2. In order to ensure that the electrode surface and electrode thread are good, please do not directly use the iron hook to hang the electrode at both ends of the electrode.
3. When loading and unloading the joint box, it should be handled gently to prevent bumping the joint and causing thread damage.
4. Please do not stack the electrodes and joints directly on the ground, but put them on a wooden square or iron frame, to prevent the electrodes from being damaged or sticking to the soil, and do not remove the packaging for electrodes and joints that are not used temporarily, and prevent dust and debris from falling on the threads or electrode holes.
5. The electrodes should be placed neatly in the warehouse for storage, and the electrodes should be padded on both sides to prevent slipping. The stacking height of the electrodes is generally not more than 2 meters.
6. The stored electrodes should be rainproof and moisture-proof. Electrodes that are subject to moisture should be dried before use to avoid cracks and increased oxidation of the electrodes during steelmaking.
7. Store the electrode connector not close to the high temperature to prevent the joint bolt from melting due to too high temperature.
