Silicon metal 1501 belongs to a type of high-purity silicon.

In industry, it is usually produced by reducing silicon dioxide from carbon in an electric furnace. The purity of silicon produced in this way is 97~98%, which is called metallic silicon. After melting and recrystallizing, impurities are removed with acid to obtain metallic silicon with a purity of 99.7-99.8%. To make it into semiconductor silicon, it is necessary to convert it into a liquid or gas form that is easy to purify, and then obtain polycrystalline silicon through distillation and decomposition processes. To obtain high-purity silicon, further purification treatment is required.

In terms of silica resource types, my country's quartzite reserves are 2.09 billion tons, accounting for 53.35% of my country's silica resource reserves; natural quartz sand is 1.23 billion tons, accounting for 31.5%; followed by quartz sandstone and vein quartz, which are 560 million tons respectively. , 40 million tons, accounting for 14.22% and 0.93%.

It can not only be widely used in industry as a basic material, but also can modify other materials to improve or enhance the process performance and usability of traditional materials. Silicone can be further processed into four major categories of deep-processed products: silicone rubber, silicone resin, silicone oil, and silane coupling agent. Silicone rubber is divided into room temperature glue and high-temperature glue. The downstream products of organic silicon are also dominated by high-temperature glue and room-temperature glue.
