Like aluminum and magnesium, the surface of titanium metal and its alloys oxidize immediately upon exposure to air to form a thin non-titanium and titanium alloys are widely used in nuclear submarines, deep submersibles, atomic icebreakers, hydrofoils, hovercrafts, minesweepers, as well as propellers, whip antennas, seawater pipelines, condensers, heat exchangers, acoustic devices, and fire-fighting equipment. On the market, the main alloys are industrial pure titanium and Ti64.
Titanium is very difficult to solder directly, and hence a solderable metal or alloy such as steel is coated on titanium prior to soldering. Titanium metal can be machined with the same equipment and the same processes as stainless steel.

application of titanium material
Because titanium alloys have a high tensile strength-to-density ratio, high corrosion resistance, fatigue resistance, high crack resistance, and the ability to withstand moderately high temperatures without creeping, they are used in aircraft, armor plating, naval ships, spacecraft, and missiles.
