Level A Silicon Metal 553

Silicon metal 553 is silver gray or dark gray powder with metallic luster, which be of high melting point, good heat resistance, high resistivity and  superior oxidation resistance, it's called "industrial glutamate", which is an essential basic raw material in high-tech industry.

Silicon metal 553 is a commonly used grade. In the metal silicon 553, the silicon content should be as high as 98.7%. Industrial silicon is also used as an alloying agent for demanding silicon steel,  a deoxidizer for smelting special steel grades and non-ferrous alloys. After being processed by a series of processes, industrial silicon can be drawn into monocrystalline silicon for use in the electronics industry.

The composition of metal silicon 553  is mainly silicon, so it has similar properties to silicon. The properties of metal silicon are similar to those of germanium, lead and tin, and have semiconductor properties.
