Silicon calcium cored wire is a metallurgical material commonly used in the steelmaking process, which mainly consists of silicon (Si) and calcium (Ca) as the core components, and is wrapped with a steel strip or aluminum skin on the outer layer. This kind of core wire is widely used for deoxidation, desulfurization and microalloying treatment in steel making, especially playing an important role in the production of high quality steel.

- Core Composition: Calcium-silicon alloy (usually a mixture of Si and Ca, with a Si content generally ranging from 30% to 60% and a Ca content of about 10% to 30%).


- Outer layer wrapping: steel strip or aluminum skin, used to protect the stability of calcium silicate alloy during storage and use, preventing oxidation and deliquescence.
