Uses of Ferrosilicon Granules
(1) Used as a deoxidizer and alloying agent in the steelmaking industry.
(2) Used as an inoculant and nodularizer in the cast iron industry. Cast iron is an important metal material in modern industry. It is cheaper than steel, easy to melt and smelt, has excellent casting properties, and much better seismic resistance than steel. Especially ductile iron, its mechanical properties reach or are close to those of steel. Adding a small amount of ferrosilicon to cast iron can prevent the formation of carbides in iron, promote the precipitation and nodularization of graphite, so ferrosilicon is an important inoculant (helping to precipitate graphite) and nodularizer in the production of ductile iron.
Packaging of Ferrosilicon Granules:
Specification particle size: 0.2-0.8mm, 1-3mm, 3-8mm, 8-15mm, or customized according to customer requirements.
Packaging: Ton bag packaging (1000kg/bag), 25kg parent-child bags, or customized according to customer requirements.
