The quotations of ferrosilicon manufacturers remain stable, the market inquiry volume is average, traders are not very enthusiastic about purchasing, and some traders even lower prices. At present, the market is mainly based on rigid demand purchases. It is expected that the price of ferrosilicon will continue to fluctuate in the short term. ZhenAn supplies 72 ferrosilicon blocks/grain at an affordable price.
In terms of ferrosilicon, the cost side of ferrosilicon has not changed much. In terms of supply and demand, ferrosilicon production fell to a historical low during the same period, downstream demand has not increased, and downstream production resumption is slow. Upstream inventory pressure still exists. As of last week, 60 ferrosilicon companies across the country had 83,000 tons of inventory (+16.25%) and 69,000 tons of delivery inventory. Taken together, the fundamentals of ferrosilicon are weak, the inventory has not yet been cleared, and the market is under pressure.
The intraday price performance of ferrosilicon and manganese silicon was generally volatile. Currently, the industrial conflicts faced by ferrosilicon and manganese silicon are relatively limited. From a supply perspective, on the one hand, the pressure of overcapacity is reflected in the dual-silicon industry structure.
Dual-silicon profits may continue to be suppressed, which may impose certain constraints on the absolute price of dual-silicon. On the other hand, due to the squeeze on spot profits, the current output of ferrosilicon and manganese silicon has declined, but the supply pressure reflected in inventory accumulation continues.
