High Level Metal Ferro Silicon 72

After the mother liquor was made by means of primary weighing, nitric acid and hydrofluoric acid dissolution, and water bath heating, the contents of manganese and phosphorus in ferrosilicon 72 were determined by spectrophotometry, and the content of chromium in ferrosilicon was determined by titration. The dissolution conditions such as the dissolution method and the amount of hydrofluoric acid added were determined by the experiment. The mutual interference test between manganese and chromium was carried out, and the results showed that the chromium in the sample did not interfere with the determination of manganese content, and the use of sodium nitrite and urea could eliminate the interference of manganese in the determination of chromium.

1.The flux crucible was prepared by lithium tetraborate wall-mounted, the dispersant dissolved and dispersed the ferrosilicon alloy sample, the excess water was evaporated and the mixed flux was added to melt the sample, and the Si, Fe, Mn, Al, Ca and other elements in the ferrosilicon 72 alloy were determined simultaneously by X-ray fluorescence spectrometer. This method effectively avoids the corrosion problem of platinum crucible during the melting process of ferrosilicon, and can prepare ferrosilicon glass discs suitable for fluorescence analysis, and realizes the rapid and accurate analysis of major elements and trace elements in ferrosilicon. The standard samples of ferrosilicon alloy were analyzed by this method, and the measured values were consistent with the identified values, and the relative standard deviations of the major and minor elements could meet the needs of the determination of ferrosilicon.
