Use of ferrovanadium
Iron and steel industry: Ferrovanadium is an important alloy additive in iron and steel industry, which is used to improve the strength, toughness, ductility and heat resistance of steel. About 90% vanadium is used in iron and steel industry, mainly for smelting alloy steel and alloy cast iron.

Non-ferrous alloys: Ferrovanadium is used to produce ferrovanadium titanium alloys, such as Ti-6Al-4V, and is used to make high-temperature structural materials for airplanes and rockets.
Other applications: Ferrovanadium is also used to manufacture permanent magnets, heat-resistant steel, hydrogen-resistant steel, cast iron, cemented carbide, superconducting materials and nuclear reactor materials.
