Products Description
Preliminary results of precision forging of pure molybdenum rods in powder metallurgy. In the test, pure molybdenum sintered billet with a purity of 99.9% was used for precision forging in the temperature range of 1300~780 °C, and φ32 and φ42mm bars were prepared. The results show that the precision forging performance of powder smelting and sintering pure molybdenum billet is good. At the same time, the factors affecting the uneven microstructure of precision forged pure molybdenum rods were also discussed.

1.Silicon-molybdenum rod is a kind of high-temperature heating element, which can be used at a maximum temperature of 1800°C in an oxygen atmosphere, and is widely used in industrial heating process because the element has good oxidation resistance. However, the equivalent resistance of silicon-molybdenum rod in the low temperature section is very small, and it rises rapidly with the increase of temperature, and this special temperature-resistance characteristic makes it easy to produce current overshoot in the whole temperature control process, which directly affects the service life of silicon-molybdenum rod. In this paper, a temperature-current double-loop control strategy is proposed for the special temperature-resistance characteristics of silicon molybdenum rods.
