Silicon Carbide is a compound composed of the elements silicon (Si) and carbon (C) with very unique physical and chemical properties. It is an extremely hard, thermally stable, and wear-resistant material that is widely used in a number of industries, and has shown excellent performance especially in applications under extreme conditions such as high temperature, high power, and high pressure.
