High-carbon silicon utilizes the characteristics of silicon and carbon elements to exploit the good role of carbon in the deoxidation process, and obtains a composite deoxidizer based on elements with particularly strong affinity between silicon, carbon and oxygen. It has strong deoxidizing ability. Since High carbon ferro silicon is mainly composed of [Si], [C], etc., the generated deoxidation products are easy to float and eliminate, do not pollute the molten steel, and can prevent the harmful effects of inclusions such as Al2O3, and also have certain deoxidation properties [S], [P] ability. In addition, this deoxidizer has a high [Si] content, which can completely replace the current ferrosilicon alloy that consumes a lot of energy, is difficult to produce, and is expensive.
