Product Description of metal silicon
Silicon is a chemical element; it has the symbol Si and atomic number 14. It is a hard, brittle crystalline solid with a blue-grey metallic luster, and is a nonmetal and semiconductor. It is widely distributed in space in cosmic dust, planetoids, and planets as various forms of silicon dioxide (silica) or silicates.
In China, metal silicon is usually classified according to the content of its three main impurities: iron, aluminum, and calcium. According to the percentage content of iron, aluminum, and calcium in metal silicon, the product can be divided into different grades such as 2202. In each grade, the first and second codes represent the percentage content of iron and aluminum, and the third and fourth digits represent the calcium content.
