Special Material Silicon Slag

A white solid substance separated after desiliconization operation is called silicon slag. Because it contains alumina and alkali, it is usually added back when preparing raw ingredients. In the process of silicon slag separation, after the crude liquid has been desiliconized, the solution contains a large amount of impurities such as silicon slag and red mud, and cannot be decomposed directly.

1.When processing the desiliconized solution, leaf filters or filter presses are commonly used in industry to separate the silicon residue in the desiliconized solution. The desiliconized sodium aluminate solution enters the silicon slag settling tank through the material distribution box. The settled silicon slag is pumped out in the underflow tank with an underflow pump and sent to the silicon slag filter for filtration. The overflow from the settling tank goes to the original solution tank (overflow tank). Launder) is pumped into the leaf filter.

2.The silicon slag filtered by the leaf is first flushed into the silicon residue tank with a solution, and then sent to the silicon residue filter by a pump. The semen filtered by the leaf filter enters the semen tank and is pumped to the decomposition tank for decomposition.
