Electrolytic Manganese Flakes are high-purity manganese metal products extracted from manganese-containing solutions by electrolysis, with a purity of usually more than 99.7%. This material has a silvery-white flake structure, excellent ductility, conductivity and corrosion resistance, and is an irreplaceable key raw material in the industrial field. The preparation process of electrolytic manganese avoids the problem of impurity residues in traditional pyrometallurgy, so it is highly favored in high-end manufacturing fields (such as stainless steel, lithium batteries, etc.). Finally, in the electrolytic cell, under the action of direct current, manganese ions are reduced to metallic manganese at the cathode and deposited into flakes. The core of the technology lies in the precise control of current density, temperature and pH value of the electrolyte. For example, the electrolysis temperature needs to be maintained at 40-50°C to balance the reaction rate and energy consumption, and the concentration of manganese sulfate in the electrolyte needs to be stabilized at 120-150g/L to ensure the high purity and uniformity of the product. This process is also more environmentally friendly than traditional methods, but the acidic waste liquid needs to be properly handled to avoid environmental pollution.
