A new process for the production of energy-saving and consumption-reducing electrolytic manganese flakes involves circulating the catholyte outside the electrolytic cell as an auxiliary to the circulation of the original electrolyte. The qualified liquid with high manganese content in the manganese slag is replaced by the catholyte with low manganese content, which is used to supplement the amount of manganese metal in the tank. The heat pump principle is employed to convert the heat accumulated in the catholyte into hot air and hot water, which is used to dry manganese sheets, heat the anode liquid, and cool the catholyte to regulate the temperature of the electrolytic tank. The investment is small, the existing system can be used to achieve high efficiency of energy conservation and emission reduction, and it has a significant industrial application prospect.

1.An electrolytic manganese flake sulphur cleaning device comprises a conveying device, a spraying device and a sea washing device, wherein the spraying device and the sea washing device are arranged sequentially from front to back and are all positioned above the conveying device. When used, the spray washing device is mainly to wash away the sulphur impact on the electrolytic manganese sheet, and rinse down; the cleaning strength is relatively large and the waterjet formed by the spraying device can clean the sulphur on the electrolytic manganese sheet with greater strength. Then, under the transmission of the conveying device, through the sea washing device, the sea washing device adopts the method of falling water from a higher place to wash the electrolytic manganese sheet. The sea washing device is mainly for the sulphur that is washed away by the front spraying device but is not completely removed, and the sea washing device can clean the entire plate body of the electrolytic manganese sheet. The sulphur content of the cleaned electrolytic manganese sheets decreased from 0.035% ± 0.01% to <0.015% due to the separate cleaning of a single electrolytic manganese sheet and the use of sequential spray washing and sea washing.
