In the production of 70 silicon ferroalloy and industrial silicon, in order to ensure the permeability of the furnace charge, it is required that the furnace charge be within a certain particle size range. During the cleaning process of silicon ore, silicon ore with a particle size less than 20 will be screened to avoid entering the ore heating furnace and affecting the permeability of the furnace material.

(2) In a reducing atmosphere, after drying the pellets obtained in step (1) at a temperature of 100-300 ° C, the dried pellets and carbon reducing agent with a mass ratio of (2.4~3.0): (1.0~2.0) are loaded into a metallurgical furnace with a surface temperature of 800-1200 ° C. The pellets and carbon reducing agent complete pre roasting during the descent process from the metallurgical furnace mouth to the high-temperature area, Then, the pellets and carbon reducing agents are smelted for 0.5-2h in the high-temperature area of the metallurgical furnace at a temperature of 1800-2500 ° C. During the smelting process, steel chips, rolled iron sheets, and iron concentrate pellets containing iron are added to obtain a silicon iron alloy melt;
(3) The 70 silicon iron alloy melt obtained in step (2) can be refined outside the furnace to produce 70 silicon iron alloy.
