When steel plates containing phosphorus are used, adhesion between steel plates can be prevented. When producing rolls, adding 0.4%-0.5% phosphorus can improve fluidity and avoid surface cracks. Phosphorus can also improve and enhance the cutting performance of steel. These are the uses of ferrophosphorus in steelmaking.

The use of phosphorus iron in casting can improve the fluidity of cast iron, thereby improving the quality of castings. When producing high-phosphorus wear-resistant cast iron, phosphorus forms a uniform binary phosphorus eutectic structure in the casting and is distributed in a network. Due to the high hardness of phosphorus eutectic, truck brake shoes contain 0.7%-1% phosphorus to improve their wear resistance. Currently, most uses of ferrophosphate are in the foundry industry.

Bulk shipments are packed in 1-ton jumbo bags with moisture-resistant inner lining. Smaller quantities can be supplied in 25kg or 50kg woven bags palletized for safe transport. Standard delivery time is 15-30 days after order confirmation, with FOB, CIF, and DAP terms available.
