High-Quality RP HP Shp Fg UHP Graphite Electrode 450mm 400mm
Electric furnace steelmaking utilizes graphite electrodes to carry current into the furnace. A strong current generates gas arc discharge at the bottom of the electrode, and the heat generated by the arc is used for smelting. Depending on the capacity of the electric furnace, graphite electrodes of different diameters are used. To enable continuous use of the electrodes, threaded connections are adopted between the electrodes. Graphite electrodes for steelmaking account for about 70 to 80% of the total amount of graphite electrodes.
