Introduction to high carbon ferromanganese
High carbon ferromanganese is an alloy composed of manganese and iron. Ferromanganese is divided into three categories according to its carbon content: low carbon: carbon is no more than 0.7%; medium carbon: carbon is no more than 0.7% to 2.0%; high carbon: carbon is no more than 2.0% to 8.0%.
Electric furnace high carbon ferromanganese is mainly used in steelmaking as deoxidizer, desulfurizer and alloy additive. In addition, with the advancement of medium and low carbon ferromanganese production technology, high carbon ferromanganese can also be used to produce medium and low carbon ferromanganese.
Blast furnace high carbon ferromanganese: used as deoxidizer or alloying element additive in steelmaking.
