Odor Odorless

Antimony has three allotropes: yellow antimony, gray antimony, and black antimony. Metal antimony is silvery white, brittle, and has the property of shrinking with heat and expanding with cold. Amorphous antimony is gray and can be produced by electrolysis of antimony halides.

Premium Antimony Ingot is commonly known as refined antimony. It is mainly used as a hardening agent for alloys in industries such as metallurgy, batteries, and military industries. It is also a raw material for the production of antimony oxide. Antimony ingot 99.85% are also used in the movable type printing industry, lead materials, cable sheaths, solders, and sliding bearings. Pure Antimony Ingot is now widely used in the production of various flame retardants, enamels, glass, rubber, coatings, pigments, ceramics, plastics, semiconductor components, fireworks, pharmaceuticals, and chemical products.

Antimony is a non-ferrous heavy metal, a brittle and shiny silver-white solid. There are two allotropes, the yellow variant is stable at minus 90 degrees and the metallic variant is the stable form of antimony. The melting point is 630 degrees, the density is 6.62 g/cm3, and the thermal conductivity is poor.

Antimony oxygen powder (commonly known as powdery antimony oxide ore), antimony trioxide (commonly known as antimony white).

Under the provisions of international indicators, the content of antimony trioxide (Sb2O3) cannot be less than 99%, that is, the content of antimony (Sb) cannot be less than 85%. Under normal circumstances, antimony trioxide (Sb2O3) is based on the Sb2O3 content in it. Identification grade and antimony oxide are based on Sb content to identify grade.

Antimony trioxide (Sb2O3) is smelted into Antimony ingot 99.99% based on antimony oxygen powder and then crushed and smelted again.

Therefore, in terms of fineness, it is finer than antimony oxygen powder, and in terms of whiteness, because antimony trioxide (Sb2O3) extracts lead, arsenic, sulfur, and other impurities based on antimony oxygen powder, the whiteness is higher than that of antimony oxygen powder. Antimony oxygen powder is off-white at room temperature, while antimony trioxide that has been smelted is pure white. The whiteness of the two substances is different.

Antimony trioxide is divided into environmentally friendly and ordinary types. The main difference is the content and heavy metals.
