What are the uses of ferrotitanium?
Used as a steel cleaning agent in steelmaking; titanium has strong reactivity with sulfur, carbon, oxygen, and nitrogen, forming insoluble compounds and chelating them in the slag, so it is used for deoxidation, and sometimes for desulfurization and denitrification.
