Product Description of metal silicon
Metallic silicon, also known as crystalline silicon or industrial silicon. Additional products include micro-silica fume, edge silicon, black silicon, metallic silicon slag, etc. Microsilica fume, also called silica fume, is widely used in the refractory and concrete industries.
Industrial silicon, also known as metalloid silicon, is a product name that emerged in the mid-1960s. According to the percentage content of iron, aluminum, and calcium in metallic silicon, metallic silicon can be divided into different grades such as 553, 2502, and 411. In each grade, the first and second codes represent the percentage content of iron and aluminum, and the third and fourth digits represent the calcium content, so 553 represents the content of iron, aluminum, and calcium in metallic silicon, which is 0.5% and 0.5%, 0.3%.

Step 1: Before releasing the silicon melt, continuously flow the refining gas into the ladle, then release the silicon melt in the submersible furnace into the ladle, and at the same time, perform initial heating and insulation of the silicon water in the ladle;
Step 2: After the initial temperature rise, add refining agent to the ladle, blow air outside the furnace, and create slagging for refining;
Step 3: Reheat and keep the silicon water of the remaining 553 metal silicon in the bag;
Step 4: After raising the temperature again, adjust the flow rate of the refining gas, then add the refining agent to the lifting bag, and carry out air blowing outside the furnace and slagging refining;
Step 5: After refining outside the furnace is completed, separate the slag silicon and then pour it to obtain high-purity industrial silicon.
