Silicon Calcium is an alloy consisting of silicon (Si) and calcium (Ca), which is widely used in steel smelting and foundry industry. It is an efficient deoxidiser, desulphuriser and alloy additive that can enhance the purity and mechanical properties of steel.

- Silicon (Si): Silicon is a common deoxidiser, which can effectively remove oxygen from steel, reduce the formation of oxide inclusions and improve the quality of steel.


- Calcium (Ca): Calcium is a powerful desulphurising agent that reacts with sulphur in the steel to form sulphides that are easy to remove. In addition, calcium also has a metamorphic effect, which can change the morphology of inclusions and reduce the effect of inclusions on steel properties.
