A nonlinear parameter estimation method is used to determine the thermal diffusivity of silicon calcium microporous calcium silicate insulation materials. Firstly, the thermal insulation material was sandwiched between two metal sheets to make a sandwich structure sample, and the temperature rise on the back of the sample was measured by the laser pulse method. Then, the thermal diffusivity of the insulation material is estimated by fitting the theoretical temperature rise curve with the experimental temperature rise curve. The thermal diffusivity, heat dissipation coefficient and energy absorbed by the specimen can be estimated simultaneously by using nonlinear parameter estimation. Through experiments, it was determined that the optimal thickness of the thermal diffusivity measurement was 1.6~1.9mm. The measurement error caused by the thickness accuracy of the specimen and the contact thermal resistance is within 5.8%.
