The main components of ferrosilicon 75 are silicon and iron, of which the silicon content is usually between 72% and 75% (some say that ferrosilicon 75 is composed of 75% silicon and 25% iron, but the silicon content in the actual product may be slightly different). This high silicon content makes ferrosilicon 75 have unique application value in many industrial fields. Ferrosilicon 75 is made of coke (or semi-coke), steel scraps (iron oxide scale), and quartz (or silica) as raw materials, and is smelted at high temperature in an electric furnace. During the production process, the raw materials are melted and chemically reacted, and the silicon element is reduced and combined with iron to form a ferrosilicon 75 alloy.
Ferrosilicon 75 has high density, high strength, high toughness, good ductility and wear resistance.
