Ferrosilicon industry uses
The main use of ferrosiliconinclude: 1. Steel smelting: steelmaking deoxidizer, alloy additive, production of stainless steel, electrical steel and other special steels. 2. Foundry industry: improve cast iron fluidity, increase casting hardness and wear resistance. 3. Magnesium metal production: as a reducing agent, extract magnesium metal from dolomite (high silicon ferrosilicon with silicon content ≥ 75% is required). 4.Other fields: welding rod coating materials, rare earth metal smelting, photovoltaic silicon wafer production, etc.
