Phosphorus is used as an alloying agent in the steel industry and we use it in metallurgy as a ferroalloy additive and deoxidizer. In general steel products, phosphorus is a harmful component, but in some very special products, adding phosphorus can also improve some aspects of the performance of steel.

In addition, phosphorus iron is also widely used in rolls, automobile cylinder liners, engine rollers and large castings to improve the corrosion resistance and wear resistance of mechanical parts.

Ferrophosphate applications:

1. Coating: Partial replacement of zinc powder, 35% by weight.

2. Welding coating: Phosphorus iron can be coated in single or multi-layer coatings. It has the characteristics of weldability and is suitable for coating of coatings, adhesives, sealants, etc.

3. Conductive coating: Make the coating conductive and thermally conductive.

4. Shielding layer: It can partially replace the nickel pigment or copper pigment shielding layer to resist electromagnetic interference.

5. Powder metallurgy additives: can reduce the sintering temperature, improve the compression molding efficiency, and improve the wet strength of non-sintered dust.

6. Electric welding: used in the manufacturing of automobiles and other machines.
