1. Highly efficient deoxidizer: Calcium silicon is a strong deoxidizer, usually used in the steelmaking process to remove oxygen from steel and improve the purity of steel. The deoxidizing effect of calcium and silicon can reduce the oxygen content of steel and improve its mechanical properties and toughness.
2. Desulfurizer: Calcium has a strong affinity for sulfur, so calcium-silicon alloys can effectively remove sulfide from steel, thus reducing the sulfur content of steel and improving the plasticity and ductility of steel.
3. Improve the performance of steel**: calcium silicate alloy can refine the grain structure of steel, improve the wear resistance, corrosion resistance and strength of steel, commonly used in the manufacture of high-strength steel and wear-resistant steel.
4. Inoculant: In the production of cast iron, calcium silicate can be added as an inoculant, which can improve the graphite morphology in the castings, refine the grains, reduce the hardness and brittleness of the castings, and enhance the toughness and machinability of the castings.

6. High stability: Calcium-silicon alloy has good thermal stability at high temperatures and is non-volatile, suitable for use in high-temperature steelmaking process. In addition, it can effectively inhibit the oxidation of steel and reduce inclusions in steel.
7. Easy to add and good dispersion: Calcium silicate alloy has a low density, easy to add to the molten steel and quickly and evenly distributed, which helps to achieve efficient deoxidation and desulfurization effects.
