1.The production of ferro silicon 65 is based on natural silica as raw material, the use of metallurgical coke as a reducing agent and a certain amount of iron-containing material for smelting, in order to ensure the air permeability of the mineral material when using this process to produce ferrosilicon 65, the particle size of silica and coke particles are relatively large, the particle size of silica is generally 60~120mm, and the particle size of coke particles is generally 5~22mm. The metallurgical methods of nickel are divided into two categories: fire method and wet method, the production of nickel in China mainly adopts the pyrometallurgical smelting of nickel sulfide ore, and the production process used is electric furnace smelting, flash furnace smelting and blast furnace smelting, among which the flash furnace smelting process is more advanced. The flash furnace smelting method is used to produce 1 ton of nickel and discharge about 6~16 tons of slag, and only Jinchuan Group will discharge nearly 800,000 tons of nickel slag every year, with an annual utilization of about 100,000 tons, and the rest is piled up in the company's slag yard, with a cumulative inventory of 10 million tons. A large amount of nickel slag is not treated and stacked arbitrarily, which will not only occupy a large amount of land, but also pollute the environment, so it is necessary to make comprehensive utilization of nickel slag. The main components of nickel slag are iron oxide and silica, and the main phases are olivine and pyroxene phases, which are important raw materials for the production of 65 ferrosilicon. Therefore, the technology of directly using nickel slag as raw material to produce 65 ferrosilicon needs to be explored.
