Starting from the current process of preparing ferro-titanium by thermite, a new process for the preparation of low-oxygen high-quality ferro-titanium by thermite reduction-vacuum refining method was proposed by analyzing the microstructure of ferro-titanium and the formation mechanism of oxygen, that is, the crude products of ferro-titanium were prepared by thermite reduction method firstly, and then vacuum refining.
