Description of Ferrotitanium alloy
Ferrotitanium is a ferroalloy, an alloy of iron and titanium with between 10 and 20% iron and sometimes a small amount of carbon. It is used in steelmaking as a cleansing agent for iron and steel.
Ferrotitanium is one of the raw materials for titanium-calcium type welding electrode coatings and is also used for basic components of some hydrogen storage alloys and magnetic materials. The alloy is also used as a reducing agent for the production of other iron alloys and non-ferrous metals by metal thermal reduction, and a small amount is used in the chemical industry and other industries.

Thermite self-propagation method
The high-temperature self-propagation method, also known as the high-temperature synthesis method, is to press the powder prepared according to the formula into a compact, and then select a suitable external heat source to ignite it to start the reaction. The chemical reaction releases a large amount of heat to form a high temperature. As the reaction proceeds, the combustion wave formed at the same time propagates downward, causing the nearby unreacted area to heat up and cause new reactions suddenly. When the combustion wave moves downward, the upper reaction has ended and been converted into products, and the lower reaction is still going on, and so on. Continue until all reactions are completed and the overall product is formed.
