Products Description
The main component of metal silicon 2202 is silicon, and its content is usually above 99.0%. In addition to silicon, metal silicon 2202 also contains trace impurities such as iron (Fe), aluminum (Al), calcium (Ca), etc., but the content of these impurities is strictly controlled to ensure the high purity of metal silicon 2202. Specifically, the iron content in metal silicon 2202 does not exceed 0.2%, the aluminum content does not exceed 0.2%, and the calcium content does not exceed 0.02%.

Metallic silicon 2202 is produced by smelting, that is, silica (mainly silicon dioxide) is used as raw material, after washing, screening and drying, it is melted at high temperature in a submerged arc furnace with a reducing agent (such as low-ash petroleum coke or asphalt coke, charcoal or wood blocks, etc.).
