72/75 Ferro Silicon Alloys

Ferrosilicon is an indispensable deoxidizer in the steelmaking industry. In torch steel, ferrosilicon is used for precipitation deoxidation and diffusion deoxidation. Brick iron is also used as an alloying agent in steelmaking. Adding a certain amount of silicon to steel can significantly improve the strength, hardness and elasticity of the steel, improve the magnetic permeability of the steel, and reduce the hysteresis loss of transformer steel. Generally, steel contains 0.15%-0.35% silicon, structural steel contains 0.40%~1.75% silicon, tool steel contains 0.30%~1.80% silicon, spring steel contains 0.40%~2.80% silicon, stainless acid-resistant steel contains 3.40%~4.00% silicon, heat-resistant steel contains 1.00%~3.00% silicon, and silicon steel contains 2%~3% silicon or more.

Silica:

1) SiO, content ≥ 97.5%

The surface of silica should not have impurities such as mountain stones, weathered stones, sand and soil; silica should have good mechanical strength and explosion resistance; the particle size should be 80-140mm.

Lime carbon:

1) Fixed carbon content > 82%

2) Particle size: small material 8-18mm

3) Moisture: ≤16.0%

4) Screened material: ≤5%

5) Volatile content: small material ≤8.0%

6) Ash content: ≤8.0%

Electrode paste (baked electrode)

1) Ash: ≤6.0%

2) Volatile content: Summer: 11.2≤ Volatile content≤12.5

Winter: 11.0≤ Volatile content≤12.3

3) Appearance quality is qualified, and the cross section shall not contain impurities and water droplets.
Pelletized ore:
1) Moisture ≤ 0.8%
2) Iron content > 60%
3) Particle size is 8-16mm, particle size < 8mm shall not exceed 5%
4) Compressive strength ≥ 2500N/ball.
