The process of producing high-titanium ferro by direct reduction of titanium concentrate by aluminothermic method is feasible, but the oxygen content in high-titanium ferro is high and difficult to remove by reduction method. The unit heat effect of titanium reduction reaction is low. In the process of producing high-titanium ferro, additional heat must be added to make the reaction proceed spontaneously. The method of remelting the semi-finished ferrotitanium product and adding pure titanium can reduce the impurity content in the ferrotitanium product.
