Vanadium titanomagnetite concentrate is the main raw material for the production of vanadium, and 90% of the world's vanadium production is produced from this raw material.

2.The main raw material for the production of ferro vanadium 40 in the country where our company is located is vanadium titanomagnetite, which is enriched by beneficiation and enrichment to produce vanadium-containing pig iron through a blast furnace, and vanadium slag is extracted in the process of atomization furnace or converter blowing. After the vanadium slag is crushed, sodium salt is added for sodium oxide roasting, so that vanadium becomes soluble sodium metavanadate, and ammonium sulfate is added to precipitate ammonium polyvanadate after leaching and purification, and then melted by deamination to cast into flake vanadium pentoxide. The required components are V99%, P<0.05%, S<0.05%, Na2O+K2O<1.5%. In addition, vanadium pentoxide is chemically extracted directly from vanadium-bearing iron concentrates or vanadium-bearing carbonaceous shales.
