What is the preparation method of ferrovanadium?
There are two common ways to prepare ferrovanadium:
Hearthstone method: Ferrovanadium is prepared by high-temperature reduction of oxides. Generally, the hearthstone method is used to put ore and reducing agents such as coke into a high-temperature furnace for reduction reaction.
Molten salt electrolysis: By electrolyzing in a molten state, the ions of ferrovanadium are precipitated from the salt solution to obtain ferrovanadium.
