Graphite Electrode Nipples - Matching UHP/HP/RP Graphite Electrodes
Graphite Electrode Nipples are accessories for graphite electrodes, used to connect electrode bodies to ensure continuous use of the electrodes.
Graphite Electrode Nipples are used to connect two or more electrodes into columns. Their purpose is to achieve continuous use of electrodes during the steelmaking process in electric arc furnaces. Threaded joints with a traditional external thread surface are important clamping devices for extending electrode length. This avoids unproductive consumption during smelting.
As a technical manufacturer, ZhenAn understands that the mismatch between graphite electrode bodies and joints can lead to electrode breakage during use. This not only causes unproductive consumption in smelting, but also increases the carbon content in molten steel. Due to these reasons, all electrode joints are produced in our factory rather than purchased externally.
