RP Graphite Electrode Overview
RP graphite electrode, also known as molded column graphite, is used as a high-temperature conductive material for electric arc furnaces. The allowable current density of conventional power graphite electrodes is less than 17 A/cm2. The quality of graphite electrodes determines the productivity and cost of steelmaking in electric furnaces.
