Closed calcium carbide furnace process flow:
Qualified lime and coke enter the silo of the batching station, and enter the weighing hopper respectively through the vibrating feeder according to the set ratio. According to the hopper limit, in order, they are mixed by the vibrating feeder and the belt conveyor and enter the ring silo. Lime and coke react under high temperature conditions to generate liquid calcium carbide. The mixture in the material pipe continuously enters the furnace electrode area by its own weight.
The liquid calcium carbide smelted in the calcium carbide furnace is discharged regularly and flows into the calcium carbide pot on the furnace trolley through the flow nozzle. It is pulled into the cooling room by a traction machine, cooled by a 5-ton crane, poured out of the empty pot, and pulled back to the furnace mouth by the winch to wait for the next furnace to be discharged.
