How to smelt ferrotitanium?
Ferro-titanium smelting is a complex and delicate process that requires strict control of temperature, pressure and chemical composition. The following are the main steps of ferro-titanium smelting:

1. Raw material preparation: Ferro-titanium is usually prepared by reducing titanium ore. After the ore is ground, beneficiated, crushed, etc., it is mixed with reducing agent coal powder to form a reducing charge.

2. Ironmaking reaction: Before smelting, the furnace and the charging front must be cleaned and the production log must be registered. Then the reducing charge is heated in a high-temperature furnace to reduce the titanium oxide in the ore to ferro-titanium through a reduction reaction.

3. Cleaning work: After a period of reaction, the furnace needs to be cleaned to remove residual slag and impurities. At the same time, the product needs to be separated, cooled and processed.

4. Refining process: Impurities in the product are absorbed and removed by adding lime or other ores. This process usually needs to be repeated many times to ensure that the quality of the output ferro-titanium meets the requirements.

5. Crystallization and solidification: The resulting liquid ferrotitanium will gradually crystallize and solidify after cooling to form a solid ferrotitanium product in block or granular form.

6. Post-processing: The smelting temperature, composition, etc. of the produced ferrotitanium are tested to ensure that the product quality meets the standards. Then it is packaged, stored and transported, and finally delivered to customers or used for downstream production.

In summary, ferrotitanium smelting is a complex and tedious process that requires strict control of various parameters and processes to ensure product quality and production efficiency. In actual operation, it is necessary to rely on professionals and advanced equipment to complete this process.
